Crockpot Swiss Steak- ninja/slow cooker

Ingredients

4 servings

  • 2 can (normal size)Diced stewed tomato-hunts brand
  • 1 packages Cube steak
  • 1 Green bell pepper- sliced into strips
  • 1 Yellow onion- sliced into strips
  • 1 packages Swiss steak seasoning-I didn't use whole pack
  • 1 can MILD Rotel
  • as needed Minced garlic
  • As needed Flour to baste steak in
  • As needed favorite seasonings/herbs
  • as needed chopped Celery or celery flakes
  • as needed Cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp Worchershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup or so of beef broth or water
  • Steps

  • First, I flour and season steaks, then cook just until the flour turns brown. I have a ninja cooking system that has the stovetop/oven etc built into my slow cooker. So I just do it in it on stovetop function. But if you don’t, you can do the normal way on stovetop in a pan. Then put it in the slow cooker.
  • Mix tomatoes, rotel, Worcestershire, peppers, onion, minced garlic, broth or water and some of the Swiss steak seasoning pk in crock pot.
  • Cook on high 4 hours or low 6-8. Serve with steamed or cooked rice.

    Ingredients

  • 1/2 can beans(any..black bean, pinto beans etc)
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh kernel corn
  • 1 ground tomato (i freeze it and put it in my ninja)
  • 2 portobello mushrooms (chopped)
  • 1 cumin ( to taste)
  • 1 paprika ( to taste)
  • 1 garlic powder( to taste)
  • 1 tsp hot chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 salt (optional for those who use it)
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 spiralized cucumber
  • 1 shredded cheese
  • 1 plain full fat yogurt or sour cream
  • Steps

  • Mix first eleven ingredients in a pan and heat thoroughly.
  • Place tortillas on tortilla pan and place in 350°F oven for 7-8 minutes
  • Place veggie filling in taco and add spiralized cucumber, chopped tomato , shredded cheese and 1 tbsp of yogurt
