Atole de Avena (Mexican hot oatmeal drink)

2 cup water
1 stick cinnamon
1 1/2 cup quick oats
3 cup milk
Combine water add cinnamon stick in a medium size saucepan. Bring to a gentel boil
Lower heat add in the oats, stirring frequently so that they don’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
Once oats are softened and have absorbed most of the water, add in the milk and stir to combine well. Allow atole to return to a boil and then lower the heat once again so that it can begin to thicken.
Once at the desired thickness add sugar to taste. As a guide, the atole should be thinner than oatmeal and you should be able to pour it into mugs without trouble.
Remove cinnamon sticks. Serve immediately with the Mexican bread or pastry of your choice
Quick & Easy Fruit Smoothie

1 ripe banana
1 cup strawberries
2 ripe peaches
3/4 cup milk
8 oz yogurt
Peel banana. Wash & dry strawberries & peaches.
Cut the fruits into thin slices. Add the milk & yogurt & process in a blender until smooth.
Divide among 3 glasses & enjoy!

2 1/4 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 cup Milk
1 as needed Chocolate Syrup
3/4 oz Mixed Fruit

Healthy Quick Very Berry Smoothie

1 1/2 Cup almond milk (or any milk of preference)
1/2 Cup Greek plain yogurt
2 teaspoons flaxseed
2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
4-5 medium-sized strawberries
1/2 Cup frozen blueberries (I used frozen but fresh would work)
Ice (optional; to chill)
4-5 raspberries (optional)
*I made this smoothie for myself so feel free to double recipe
Liquids first, pour in almond milk and yogurt into blender followed by the rest of ingredients. Blend until smooth. If too thick, simply add more milk and blend.
Serve immediately or store in air tight container in fridge/freezer. Stays fresh about 3 days.
Quick and easy Bulgarian Banica in a pizza oven

1 pack thin phyllos
1 yogurt or glass of milk
150 grams goat cheese –
half pack butter
1 glass soda drink
Mix in a large bowl the eggs and cheese, along with the yogurt and the soda. Preheat the oven.Put some butter on the oven’s pan
Take a list of the phyllos. If they are extra thin take two. Spread it along the pan.
Add some oil with a cooking brush and then add little of the mixture
Repeat step 3 until the phyllos are over. To make it taste better put all the rest of the mixture on top of it.
Put on the cover of the oven and bake for about 20 minutes
